Winter Tandem Paragliding in Fügen, Zillertal

The Spieljoch mountain is located in the Zillertal near the Tux Alps in Tyrol and well-known for its fantastic winter sports opportunities. During this exciting tandem paragliding flight, you will glide all the way down into the valley and enjoy the incredible views of the snow-covered Alpine scenery around you.

First, you are going to meet your personal guide at the Spieljochbahn in Fügen at the top station which is located at 1800 metres altitude. Here, he will explain everything you need to know about paragliding and you will gear up for the activity. After the short introduction, you are going to the starting point which is close by.

Now it's time to prepare the paraglider wing. Your guide will double-check everything once again and make sure that your helmet and harness are perfectly adjusted. As soon as you are ready, your tandem partner and you will face the valley and start to walk forward for a few steps. After pulling on the wing, it will start to fill up and once it’s completely filled with air, you start running. Within a few seconds, you are flying!

Relax and enjoy the stunning panorama of the Zillertal Alps – from up here, you will see the mighty Kaiser Mountains, the great Achen Lake and the vast mountain range of Karwendel and much more.

If the weather conditions are good, your guide will try to land directly next to your hotel or accommodation in Fügen. Alternatively, you will be landing near the Spieljochbahn station at the Hotel Elizabeth.
