The programme for the via ferrata at Cap Beauséjour in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, between Montreal and Mont-Tremblant, begins with a short 450-metre walk to the foot of the cliff. From there, you attach yourself to the ‘continuous lifeline’ and set off on a via ferrata 60 metres high... the equivalent of a 20-storey building! Fortunately, there's nothing to be afraid of, as all along the route, you'll be able to move along the cliffs thanks to totally secure iron holds. You'll then cross wooden beams, discover different types of bridges and finally, for a dizzying sensation, climb a ladder suspended above the void!
Once you've reached the top, you can admire the magnificent scenery of the Laurentians and the Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts region, before taking the 750-metre hike back down to the chalet, the starting point for this activity.
