You just need to be healthy and never dive alone to practice in the best conditions. It's also as good for the body as it is for the mind. It allows you to learn to relax and manage the stress of everyday life.
Freediving Costa Rica is based in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. Its deep, clear, warm and fish-bearing waters offer good conditions to practice freediving. Wonderful wildlife, spectacular beaches, numerous mangrove forests, and lagoons will add to your overall experience!

Your expert instructor teaches freediving in English, French, and Spanish with a high degree of professionalism and commitment. The school's multimedia classroom and swimming pool will provide you with a relaxed atmosphere and the diving boat will take you to the best dive sites!
During the Discover Freediving half-day course, you will learn proper breathing and swimming techniques to bring you past 15ft/5m depth.
The course is divided into 3 phases:
- Theory: Freediving equipment and techniques
- Breathing and relaxation techniques
- Open water: Finning technique, Duck diving
At the end of this beginner course, you will be able to perform comfortable dives beyond 5m/15ft depth! Take a deep breath and let the adventure begin!
