The exciting adventure begins at the meeting point in Grabovac, where you will be greeted by your instructor. After receiving helmets, the instructor will explain safety rules and the itinerary, as well as introduce buggy driving. Once everyone is comfortable, the fun ride begins!
Your journey first takes you to the old town of Drežnik, famous for a magnificent defensive fortress from the 12th century that protected this part of Europe from the Turkish Empire for 400 years. The location offers a wonderful panoramic view of the Korana River and the surrounding area. Driving to the next location, Željava Airport and the Underground "KLEK" complex, you will find the ruins of the most expensive Yugoslavian military base where MIGs flew “straight out of the mountain” and the tunnels underneath it.
Continuing your exploration, you'll visit Villa Izvor or "Objekt 99", as it is called by the locals, located in a secluded part of the park. There, you'll have time to see an abandoned secluded villa that used to belong to Yugoslavian President Josip Tito, but is now owned by nature and time. After visiting many landmarks with your buggy, you'll finally have a stunning view of the iconic Plitvice Lakes Waterfalls, Croatian oldest and largest national park with its cascading lakes and waterfalls.
