Your adventure begins in Sirkka, where you'll be picked up by your experienced guide and shuttled outside of Levi to a tranquil fishing spot on a lake or river. You and your group will put on your thermal gear and head out into the winter wonderland of Lapland. Due to the season's sub-zero temperatures, the ice is quite thick on lakes and rivers, making it more than safe to stand on.

Your expert guide will introduce you and your group (a maximum of 8 participants) to ice fishing techniques, including hole drilling. You'll have a blast drilling your own fishing hole and placing your hook into the icy waters. Although a catch is never guaranteed, "good things come to those that wait" and patience is always a key element of ice fishing. If luck is on your side, you can cook your fish over a roaring campfire while also enjoying snacks, beverages, and Lappish fishing stories.

Activity requirements

The driver of a snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid B driver’s license. Customers intending to drive a snowmobile must bring their driving license with them on the tour. According to Finnish traffic regulations, a copy or a photograph of the driving license cannot be accepted. If you do not bring your driving license you won't be able to drive and no refund can be offered.

Special terms

Please note that participants will be exposed to extreme winter weather for an extended period of time and this activity is not suitable for people who are uncomfortable being outdoors in cold weather.
