Take on the rapids of the superb Giffre river on a rafting trip near Samoëns, a group activity combining sport, fun and thrills!

Aboard your raft, you'll travel down the Giffre in Haute-Savoie, near Samoëns, a mountain river in the heart of unspoilt countryside that's full of surprises, including a rafting trip through the Gorges des Tines, which is only accessible by boat!

Rafting is a team activity that's accessible to beginners - a real coordination challenge! You'll be travelling in an unsinkable boat for 8 people, accompanied by a guide who will be looking after your safety. He'll be with you on the boat and will tailor your rafting trip down the Giffre in Samoëns to suit your tastes: whether it's a sporty descent or a more relaxed one, he'll be able to satisfy the wishes of all the passengers on board!

Just 1 hour 15 minutes from Annecy, Samoëns is the ideal place to spend a relaxing, sporty time with family or friends, with an introduction to rafting! By paddling together in the same direction, you'll forge some unforgettable memories! The group effect makes rafting fun. Younger children (aged 6 and over) can experience their first thrills on the water in complete safety.

2 hours in total, including 1h to 1h15 on the water for a 7km rafting trip between Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval and Samoëns.

Course of events

The route is always the same, but it is adapted by your guide according to the crew.

- Meet at the Altitude Rafting office

- Welcome by the team and instructor

- Participants are kitted out and reminded of specific rafting instructions

- Start of the 7km descent of the Giffre river (1h to 1h15)
