Enjoy a unique experience in Tignes with Evolution 2 Tignes: discover ice diving!

Whether you have already been scuba diving or not, the ice diving activity in the lake of Tignes is accessible to anyone over 1m55 and 15 years old! In addition to the usual sensations of diving, ice diving will offer you a marvelous spectacle through the play of light and shadow under a layer of ice that is renewed every day.

After a quick briefing on safety protocols and the equipment you will use to dive in the lake of Tignes, you will be equipped with a TopStar suit to protect you from the cold, as well as a face mask and waterproof gloves. Accompanied by a qualified instructor, you will complete a 20 minutes ice diving session at a depth of 1 to 2 meters.

Throughout this incredible experience, you will remain attached to an underwater lifeline to allow you to explore the surroundings in complete safety. This unusual ice diving activity in Tignes will enchant you and make your stay in the ski area unforgettable!

Practical information

Bring a hoodless sweatshirt, lightweight underwear pants and a pair of large socks to dive under the drysuit.

For those of you who would like to take their GoPro with you, you are welcome!

Activity requirements

Minimum height: 1m55

Maximum weight: 150 kg

Not recommended for pregnant women.

Special terms

Divers with a recognized Level 2 certification (PADI, CMAS/FFESSM, ANMP or other) can dive in pairs with one of the Evolution 2 Tignes instructors, only if all safety conditions are met (only the professional makes the decision). In this case, a medical certificate is required.

In front of the lake, bellow Tignespace. By bus: Tignespace spot / By car: you can park on the Parking Lac 1, Lac 2 & Lac 3 and walk
