Messinia is a region located in the southwestern part of the Peloponnese peninsula in Greece. It is known for its stunning landscapes, with a scenic coastline, rugged mountains, and crystal-clear waters. This activity takes place near the city of Kalamata at Voidokilia Beach, situated on the western side of Messinia.

The adventure begins by meeting your experienced guide at the starting point in Voidokilia, a beach famous for its unique environment and distinct shape. It is considered to be among the most beautiful beaches worldwide. You'll start with a safety briefing and an introduction to paddling. After receiving the stand up paddling equipment (board, paddle, leash, life jacket, and dry bag), the adventure begins!

Starting with paddling techniques, you'll learn how to turn, stop, and stand up until you grow confident on your board. No previous experience is required! Once you are confident in the water, you will explore the coast and discover secluded areas only accessible by sea. If you're lucky, you may spot colourful fish or even sea turtles swimming nearby!

You'll paddle towards a nearby cove with great turquoise waters. The guide will provide snorkelling equipment (snorkel and mask) so you can also explore the underwater landscape of this beautiful area. You'll have plenty of time to practice, swim, relax and sunbathe! After the stand up paddling adventure, a delicious picnic lunch will be served on the beach, consisting of freshly baked bread, handpicked vegetables, extra virgin olive oil dips, local cheese, and fruits of the season.
