Tandem paragliding flight over Mount Olympus

How does it work?
You will meet your experienced and friendly instructor at the picturesque village of Neos Panteleimonas. There, you will get the equipment and you will be driven to the take-off point, upon the mountain of Olympus. There are two different take-off points depending on the flight. For the normal flight, you will take off from 600 m. approximately, whereas for the thermal flight (which lasts longer) you will take off at 1.300 m.

A tandem paragliding flight is ideal for everyone. Sporty or not, a paragliding flight is extremely easy as the only thing you will have to do is a few steps so as to take off and then you will find yourself in the air. The instructor will manage the glide and all you will have to do is simply enjoy the incredible views!

At the back you will see the breathtaking mount Olympus with the highest peat of Mytikas at 2.918m. You will have the chance to see the picturesque village of Palaios Panteleimonas, the valley in between the mountain of Olympus and the Aegean sea, and the long coastline of Leptokaria, Katerini, Platamonas. You will be landing on the beach, besides the famous castle of Platamonas. A medieval castle on the hill that was used as a fortress in the past.

After the paragliding flight, you will have the chance to swim in the crystal clear waters of Platamonas.
