Take a road trip to the Troll Peninsula from Akureyri!
Departing from Akureyri, you'll climb aboard a vehicle and set off on an exploration to Trollaskagi, the Troll Peninsula. Located in the north of Iceland, you'll visit small fishing villages, pretty beaches and enjoy impressive views of the surrounding mountains!
When you arrive, your guide will explain how the activity will work. Your journey will begin towards the coast of Eyjafjordur, one of the country's longest fjords.
Learn all about the northern way of life as you pass through towns such as Dalvík and Ólafsfjörður.
You'll make a number of stops, including a black sand beach on the way to Siglufjörður. Relax in the hot tubs right on the beach, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean! For the bravest among you, why not take a dip in the ocean itself, and then warm up in the bath...
Don't forget to take your camera along to capture all this scenery!
At the end of the tour, you'll stop off at the Baccalá bar-restaurant in Hauganes for a bite to eat before heading back to Akureyri.
