Driving a snowmobile across Europe's biggest glacier is an exciting experience that comes with this subarctic adventure. Travel over the frozen void to see an incredible view of the shimmering glacier, its surface coated in snow and ice, and, should the weather allow, glimpses of Iceland's east and south highlands.

A break occurs halfway through the trip so you may take in the gorgeous view and have a quiet time. You are welcome to ask any questions that spark your curiosity as our informed and engaging guides offer amazing anecdotes and information about the region and the glacier.

The guides ensure your safety and comfort by providing overalls and helmets for the excursion upon arrival at the base camp. Snowmobiles are easy to use; prior knowledge is not required. Before you go out on your expedition, you will get operating guidelines and basic security standards.

- A valid driver’s license is required to operate the snowmobile.

- Weight Limit: Participants' combined weight on one snowmobile must be 180kg (390lbs) or less. For weights exceeding this limit, individual snowmobile bookings are necessary for safety.

- To participate children must be at least 6 year or 120cm / 4 ft

Punctuality is crucial; arrive at the meeting point 30 minutes before the scheduled departure. If you arrive late, your reservation will be automatically canceled and the entire booking price will be lost.
