If you have always dreamed of trying scuba diving, Porto Venere is the perfect place to start. Located only a 1-hour drive from Cinque Terre, Porto Venere is known for its fascinating marine flora and fauna. Accompanied by a professional SSI diving instructor, you’ll reach up to 12 metres in depth!

Your instructor will greet you at the scuba diving centre in San Terenzo. There, they’ll give you the equipment and brief you about the activity. First, you’ll go through a theoretical lesson, ensuring you learn about the equipment and the scuba diving gestures. Then, you and your instructor will enjoy a scenic boat ride to Porto Venere marine reserve. From the boat you’ll dive into the transparent waters and hand in hand with your instructor you’ll explore the underwater world! Enjoy the unique peace and silence of the sea as you dive up to 12 metres in depth! After 40 minutes, you and your instructor will get back on the boat and reach San Terenzo.

As you’ll be trying scuba diving for the first time, this activity welcomes up to 2 participants, allowing your instructor to dive hand in hand with you.
