Gear up with a wetsuit, mask, fins and tank and get ready to dive in! Accompanied by your certified guide, you’ll take your first steps from the shores of Riomaggiore in complete safety. This first dive aim is to teach you how to handle the equipment and dive for the first time in this magical atmosphere. During this 30-40-minute dive, you’ll reach a maximum of 12 metres in depth and observe Cinque Terre’s marine life: sea fans, octopus and fish! At the end of this scuba diving experience, you and your guide will return to the diving centre and take the gear off.

Course of events

- Meet your guide at Associazione Diving 5Terre - Via San Giacomo, snc, 19017 Riomaggiore SP, Italy 10 minutes before the start of the activity.
- Briefing and equipment.
- 30-40-minute dive.
- Return to the meeting point.

Activity requirements

- The minimum age for this activity is 12 years old. Minors under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
- Knowing how to swim is mandatory.
- The minimum height is 130 cm (4.2 ft) and the maximum height is 205 cm (6.7 ft).
- The minimum weight is 30 kg (66 lbs) and the maximum weight is 110 kg (242 lbs).

Special terms

- Please arrive at the diving centre 10 minutes before the start of the activity.

Please note you are not allowed to fly for up to 24 hours after your last dive.
