It might seem a little daunting for your first-time scuba diving, but don’t fret! With your certified scuba instructor, you will learn how to use the diving equipment in a simple, scuba diving theory lesson before experiencing your very first dive at a maximum depth of 5 meters! Suitable for friends or families with young children (ages 8 and up), scuba diving is a fun and interactive activity that will allow you to let loose and feel free in the water.

From breathing underwater for the first time, experiencing the feeling of weightlessness and being able to fly in all directions, and having a sense of absolute freedom as you explore the unknown, you’ll be sure to have an unforgettable experience for your first dive. If you’re lucky, you may even get to spot seahorses!

Your scuba diving course takes place in the Ionian Sea in front of Marina di Gioiosa Ionica. The Ionian Sea mainly flows out into the Mediterranean Sea, and is primarily known for its stunning, crystal-clear waters and tranquil surroundings—the perfect place to go scuba diving. This activity includes:

- A theory lesson that’s focused on the diving equipment and the communication signals used underwater while wearing the scuba gear.
- 30 to 40 min. underwater session, accompanied by your scuba instructor.

After your first dive, you’ll get to receive photos and a video of your underwater adventure to show off to your family and friends back home!
