Your whale-watching adventure in the Alta Fjord begins at the meeting point in Fiskerihavna Harbour in Alta. There, you and your group (a maximum of 8 participants) will be greeted by your knowledgeable and experienced Captain. Once onboard, you'll receive a safety and itinerary briefing along with thermal overalls and a life jacket. Bundled up for the elements, your Captain will chart a course for the best whale-watching spots in the Alta Fjord. Along the way, you'll enjoy the breathtaking Arctic scenery of Northern Norway!
With your eyes on the water and your camera at the ready, you may spot streams of herring, mackerel, capelin, etc. as well as orcas, sperm whales, porpoises, and hourglass dolphins! A minimum of 2 participants is required to run this tour.
Please note that alcohol is not permitted onboard.
Since wildlife is unpredictable, their presence is never guaranteed.
Please arrive at the meeting point 30 minutes before the departure time.
In addition, please list any dietary restrictions when booking. Pick-up and drop-off from your accommodations are available at an additional fee, to be arranged directly with the provider and paid onsite.
Winter boots, wool socks, a hat, and mittens are available to borrow upon request.
