Activity requirements

Please be advised that all participants must be in good physical condition to take part in this hiking excursion. It is not recommended for those with knee problems.

In addition, please inform your instructor of any health conditions that may impact the tour.

Special terms

Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the departure time.

The departure point is at the parking lot in Røte. You drive from Lofthus to Kinsarvik, by the Esso Gas Station, you will find a turn-off to the right with the sign 'Dronningstien', and follow this road to the end until you arrive at the parking area where you will meet the guide.

This hiking tour is approximately 7 to 9 hours in length and covers a distance of 16 km (10 miles) with an ascent of 900 metres (2,952 feet) and a descent of 1,100 metres (3,608).
