Course of events

- Arrival at the meeting point in Kinsarvik (please arrive 15 minutes before the departure time)

- Meet your experienced guide

- Follow a gravel round until reaching the first viewpoint

- Continue on the marked trail through rocks, dirt paths, and boardwalks

- Before descent, optional detour to Rukjande Waterfall

- Descent

- Pass 'Monk Steps' and lush orchards

- Return to the original departure point in Kinsarvik

Activity requirements

Please be advised that all participants must be in good physical condition to take part in this hiking excursion. It is not recommended for those with knee problems.

In addition, please inform your instructor of any health conditions that may impact the tour.

A minimum of 2 people is required to run this tour.

This hiking trail is labelled as 'moderately difficult'.

Special terms

Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the departure time.

The departure point is at the parking lot in Røte. You drive from Lofthus to Kinsarvik, by the Esso Gas Station, you will find a turn-off to the right with the sign 'Dronningstien', and follow this road to the end until you arrive at the parking area where you will meet the guide.

This hiking tour is approximately 7 to 9 hours in length and covers a distance of 16 km (10 miles) with an ascent of 900 metres (2,952 feet) and a descent of 1,100 metres (3,608).
