Next, you'll receive a guided tour of the Norwegian Museum of Hydropower and Industry which includes an excursion inside a former power station. During the visit, you'll learn about the story of hydropower in Norway and what it was like for workers who helped with construction at extreme altitudes and harsh winter conditions over 100 years ago. After the tour, you'll head to the via Ferrata departure point, where your instructor will provide you with your equipment, which includes a helmet and harness. Once they've provided everyone with an introduction to via Ferrata and climbing techniques, you will have a safety review and your instructor will double-check all of the equipment before attaching you to the rope.

Now, the fun starts! You'll start your 400-metre (1,312-foot) thrilling climb along 5 immense pipelines. During the via Ferrata course, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of Sørfjorden and the Folgefonna National Park.
