The adventure begins at the meeting point at Trolltunga Active Base in Tyssedal, where you and your group (a maximum of 19 participants) will be greeted by your experienced local guide. After receiving your gear, which includes snowshoes, hiking poles, and microspikes, you'll be provided with a safety and itinerary briefing. Next, you'll board the transfer to the departure point.
Then, the adventure of snowshoeing to Trolltunga begins! The journey commences by passing charming traditional Norwegian cabins at Mågelitopp, followed by the steep uphill hike at Gryteskar. Once you've conquered the hike and reached the top, you'll stop for a well-deserved break to enjoy a snack and water as well as savour the magnificent view before heading on to Trolltunga, one of Norway's most iconic viewpoints, made even more enchanting during the winter months!
