Snorkelling Reunion Island's coral reef from Le Port, near Saint-Paul

Explore Reunion by sea! From just beneath the surface of the Indian Ocean, discover a whole new world underwater while snorkelling the coral reef in Reunion’s Natural Marine Reserve, off the coast of Saint-Paul.

From the Dodo Palmé clubhouse in Le Port, near Saint-Paul, you will be taken to the snorkelling spot by boat from which you can enjoy beautiful views of Reunion’s coastline. Once you reach the Marine Reserve where the coral reef is located, the boat will dock and you will be able to jump into the water and explore the pristine waters and the enriching environment of the reserve.

Before getting in the water you will be equipped with a snorkel, mask, wetsuit, and fins which will allow you to zoom through the water! You will also be given a coral and fish identification card so that you can identify what you see whilst snorkelling the reef. Your state certified guide will accompany you in the water during the snorkelling to make sure you are safe and to answer any questions you may have. The snorkelling will last for around 1 hour and 15 minutes, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the relaxing sensation of being in the water, and the thrill of exploration!
