Feel the thrill of kayaking down a river with this canoraft on the Genil river in Malaga!
Have you ever heard of canorafting? It is a paddling sport that comes from the combination of rafting and kayaking and consists of descending white water rivers in an inflatable kayak. The difference with rafting? You steer the kayak. But don't worry, because an instructor will accompany you closely in an individual boat.
Canorafting on the river Genil in Malaga can be a great way to discover this sport, as it is suitable for both lower-intermediate and advanced levels, as it has two different sections. And for canorafting we can't think of better instructors than the instructors of Ocio Aventura Cerro Gordo, who are waiting for you in Cuevas Bajas, 1 hour from Malaga. There you will meet your instructors (who are certified river guides) to start your 1.5 to 2 hour canorafting trip. Those who wish to do the medium-low level section will do the Cuevas Bajas section, while those who already have experience in canorafting and want to experience the descent of the Genil river at an advanced level will descend from the ford of the river in Benamejí to the Roman bridge. In both cases, before starting the activity, the instructor will explain the basics of canorafting and will accompany you on the descent.
