Either way, you won't be disappointed with a hike in Abisko National Park! This trip departs from Kiruna, a town in northern Sweden, located approximately 95 kilometres (59 miles) from Abisko National Park.

The 6-hour adventure begins with a bus ride from Kiruna. After being greeted by the experienced guide at the starting point, you'll board the comfortable bus and travel along one of Sweden's most breathtaking roads. Along the way, you'll be treated to fantastic views over Lapporten Mountain as well as the picturesque Torneträsk Lake.

Once in Abisko, the hiking trip in Abisko National Park begins! The park is one of Sweden's most stunning natural treasures, home to unique Arctic landscapes. You'll start by travelling down Abiskojokka Canyon and continuing towards Björkliden. You'll witness the beautiful Rakkasjohka Waterfall, which is also referred to as the Silver Falls. A delicious lunch will be served in this scenic location while you take a well-deserved break. Afterwards, you'll be shuttled back to the starting point in Kiruna.

- Return drive to the starting point in Kiruna

Activity requirements

If you are bringing your child, they must be able to walk longer distances. Otherwise, parents must be able to carry them on the more difficult parts of the path.

Special terms

Transfer from your accommodation to the starting point in Kiruna is available for an additional price. Please contact the instructor directly after booking to arrange.

From Kiruna: the pickup time will be around 9 a.m.
From ICE HOTEL: the pickup is 30 minutes prior to the activity start time.
