Le Moule: What to do when you get there?
Discover the activities to do in Le Moule! Le Moule is a small town in the east of Grande-Terre, on the windy coast of Guadeloupe, and is an ideal spot for lovers of water sports like surfing!
The windy coastline of Le Moule, facing the Atlantic Ocean, has made this commune a real paradise for surfing, windsurfing and wingfoil in Guadeloupe. Numerous clubs offer these water sports activities from the beaches of Les Alizés, Damencourt and Anse Salabouelle, whose waves will delight those who love sensations! The wind blowing on the coast also allows you to go paragliding and discover the fabulous landscapes of Le Moule and its surroundings, especially the neighbouring communes of Petit-Canal, Morne-à-l'Eau, Sainte-Anne and Saint-François.
With their cliffs shaped by the ocean swell, the coastal landscapes of Le Moule allow for beautiful walks, whether from Petit-Canal to the north or Saint-François to the south. It is also possible to rent a kayak or a stand up paddle from the river Audouin to visit the coastline of the town and pass by its beautiful white sandy beaches, such as those of the Other Edge, Porte d'Enfer, Baie du Nord-Ouest or Montal. You can enjoy a pleasant swim in the turquoise and shallow water of the lagoon of Le Moule.
On the cultural side, Le Moule has some interesting sites to visit such as the colonial House of Zévallos, with its rich history, but also the Damoiseau Distillery, with rum tasting at the end of the visit.
Whether it is for its coastline, its waves or its beaches, Le Moule is a city to visit in Guadeloupe if you want to do a lot of water activities!
