Join a full-day adventure on a catamaran cruise ship, with swimming, snorkelling and stand up paddle boarding, in Milos! Welcoming adventurers of all ages on this all-inclusive trip.
Milos is a Greek island located in the southwestern part of the Cyclades archipelago in the Aegean Sea. It's known for its stunning natural landscapes, beautiful beaches, and rich cultural heritage. The deep blue waters and sunshine make this an ideal location for a full-day cruise!
The cruise begins at Adamantas Port in Milos, where you will board the luxury sailing boat. The experienced crew will welcome you and explain the itinerary. Once everyone is on board, the captain will set sail, heading northwest towards Cape Vani, an impressive 30-metre tall rock behind which the old 19th-century iron mine operated. The first stop on the cruise is Kalgories, a beautiful bay with turquoise waters. You’ll have some time to swim, snorkel or paddle in the sea. Back on board, delicious fruit snacks will be served.
Continuing on the cruise, you’ll sail along the west side of the island to reach Sykia, the biggest cave in Milos. There will be a short photo stop in front of the cave's spectacular entrance. Enjoy the mesmerising views of the bay to the south of the cave, an old volcanic crater, with colourful rocks and crystal-clear emerald waters! The next stop on the tour is Kleftiko, one of the most famous natural attractions in Milos. The name ‘Kleftiko’ is derived from the Greek word ‘kleftis,’ meaning ‘thief,’ as the area was historically used as a hideout by pirates and bandits.
At Kleftiko, there will be another stop for swimming, snorkelling and stand up paddling, while you admire its dramatic sea caves and towering cliffs. After, lunch will be served on the boat along with ice-cold beers and other refreshments. Leaving Kleftiko, you'll continue sailing along the south Milos coastline, passing by the Bay of Gerontas, and the famous beaches of Fyriplaka and Tsigrado. The next swim stop is at the impressive Bay of Gerakas, home to one of the best beaches in Milos, accessible only by boat.
After swimming, snorkelling and paddling at Gerakas, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch on board the boat. The trip then continues along the south side of the island to the small coastal village of Theiorychia, where the abandoned 1870s sulfur mines still stand, creating a magnificent landscape. After capturing some photos, you’ll continue towards the island of Poliegos, the largest uninhabited Greek island and home to some of the most impressive waters in the Mediterranean.
You’ll stop at Poliegos to explore the island and visit the amazing Bay of Galazia nera, or blue waters, one of the best spots in Greece! Here you will enjoy the last swim of the day, followed by some tasty desserts. Heading back towards Adamas, you will pass Glaronisia, the seagull islands, a rare geological phenomenon consisting only of hexagonal-shaped lava rocks.
The final stop of the trip is at the Bay of Adamas. You will see ‘Arkoudes’, the impressive 20ft bear-shaped rocks at the entrance of the bay, and Klima, where the statue of Venus de Milo was discovered. While you capture some stunning photos, the guide will also share historical facts about the island. The full-day adventure ends back at Adamantas Port!
