Guided Adventure Dives from Paradise Beach in Mykonos

Mykonos is a popular island forming part of the Cyclades group in Greece. Sitting in the Aegean Sea, the waters around Mykonos are warm and clear, providing optimal conditions for scuba diving. The island is also home to many interesting dive sites!

For this activity, you can choose to do 2 dives over one day, 5 dives over three days, or 10 dives over five days. You must be a certified scuba diver to participate in these dives. Upon arrival at the dive centre on Paradise Beach in Mykonos, you'll be greeted by a certified instructor. The local instructor will guide you throughout the excursion and show you the best diving spots on the island. After receiving your equipment (mask, fins, snorkel, buoyancy compensator, wetsuit, regulator, and tank), you'll set off by boat to one of the dive sites.

The dive site you visit will depend on the weather conditions and your preferences/experience. One of the most dived reefs in Mykonos is Paradise Reef, located close to Paradise Beach. The rocky reef is home to groupers and hundreds of friendly wrasses, with a maximum depth of 30 metres (98 feet). Continuing west from Paradise Reef, you may visit Grouper Rocks. This is one of the liveliest reefs in the area, with a maximum depth of 30 metres (98 feet).

Also located close to the beach is Super Paradise Reef, home to octopus, wrasses, moray eels, and lobsters. This sheltered area is favourable in most weather conditions, with a maximum depth of 18 metres (59 feet). Another popular site in Mykonos is the Peloponisos Wreck, home to a sunken ship that has been split into two pieces. The wreck dates back to the 1930s and remains in good shape. This dive is difficult and is only suitable for advanced divers, the maximum depth is 45 metres (148 feet).

One of the most spectacular dive sites on the island is Prasonisia, a paradise for fascinating antiquities. The maximum depth for this location is 18 metres (59 feet). If you travel a bit further away from Mykonos, you'll encounter Octopus Island, located approximately 16 kilometres (10 miles) off the island's south coast. This is a wall diving site with a maximum depth of 35 metres (115 feet). The impressive underwater wall is imbedded with marine life, including sea anemones and sponges. Other species such as octopus, sea horses, crabs, sea stars, and morays also frequent this spot.

For an additional fee, you can visit a remote spot at Dragonisi Island or another shipwreck, Anna II Wreck. Whether you're looking to explore reefs, caverns, walls or wrecks, you'll be guaranteed a fascinating diving experience full of unique marine life at these locations in Mykonos! Each day, one dive will take place in the morning and one in the afternoon. The excursion will end back at the dive centre at Paradise Beach.
