Your adventure begins with pick-up from your accommodation around Kotor Bay (please specify your location upon booking). The experienced guide will drive you to the starting point in Cetinje. Cetinje, once the capital city, is a historic town located in the central part of Montenegro, nestled at the foot of Mount Lovćen. Here, you’ll receive a quick safety briefing and your equipment (bike, helmet and gloves). Then, the bike adventure begins!

Following the guide, you’ll begin cycling, ascending to Jezerski vrh. You’ll take a short rest, approximately 1675m high, before continuing uphill to Čemrak and Štirovnik. After reaching spectacular heights, you’ll begin a 35km descent to Njeguši Village. Njeguši is a small village located in the foothills of Mount Lovćen (900m above sea level). It is renowned for its stunning natural beauty, traditional architecture, and its association with Montenegrin cultural heritage. At Njeguši, you’ll stop to capture some photos and admire the breathtaking panoramic views of the coastline.

The cycle then continues through the historic village of Njeguši. You’ll pass by the birthplace of Petar II Petrović-Njegoš, a revered Montenegrin prince-bishop, poet, and philosopher. The Petrović dynasty also originated here, which ruled Montenegro for over 300 years. The guide will share insights about the fascinating history as you pass by the Njegoš Mausoleum. The trip continues to Bukovica Village, where you will stop for a traditional food tasting of Montenegrin specialities (prosciutto, cheese) and learn about their production.

After lunch, you’ll cycle back through Lovćen for approximately 24km. You’ll pass dramatic peaks, dense forests, and steep cliffs, with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Lovćen National Park is also renowned for its biodiversity, with numerous plant and animal species inhabiting its slopes. You’ll feel at one with nature in this tranquil setting! Finally, you’ll arrive back at the starting point in Cetinje. The guide will then transfer you to your accommodation.
