The adventure begins at the starting point in Jondal, where you'll meet the experienced guide. You'll start with a 30-minute walk to the campsite, located atop Folgefonna Glacier. This unique campsite is equipped with cosy Scandinavian tents, furry reindeer skins, and open campfires, offering a glimpse at how the indigenous people of Norway lived in the past.
Upon arrival at the camp, the guide will give you a tour and an overview of how it runs. Then, it's time to meet the adorable and friendly dogs! You'll have time to play and cuddle with the affectionate huskies and puppies. The guide will share insights about this breed and its history as a sled dog. Some delicious traditional Norwegian snacks and hot drinks will also be served around the campfire.

Please note that you must pay a toll fee to access the meeting point. The road leading up to the ski centre is a toll road owned and operated by Jondal Municipality, with a cost of 100 NOK per vehicle. The toll fee includes parking and contributes to snow clearing and maintenance.
