After a quick safety briefing and driving instructions, you'll get set up in the sled. No previous dog sledding experience is required, this activity is beginner and family-friendly. Following the instructions of the guide, you'll set off on your dog sledding adventure!
The dogs will take you through the pristine snow-covered wilderness. You'll discover the majesty of Folgefonna Glacier, Norway's third-largest glacier. Midway through the tour, you'll stop to enjoy some traditional Norwegian snacks and hot drinks. You'll enjoy the peaceful Arctic nature while interacting with the affectionate dogs. Then, your dog sledding journey continues back to the starting point in Jondal.

Please note that you must pay a toll fee to access the meeting point. The road leading up to the ski centre is a toll road owned and operated by Jondal Municipality, with a cost of 100 NOK per vehicle. The toll fee includes parking and contributes to snow clearing and maintenance.
For this activity, you will drive the sled yourself. There is an option of riding in the sled as a passenger with the guide if you prefer.
