What to do in Saariselkä

It was an amazing ride through the woods with snow covered trees and the horses are so nice and friendly. We even saw reindeer in the woods, very spectacular. Our tour guide was super friendly and she knows the horses so very well. Also she gave us a detailed introduction to everything, so we had a safe feeling on the horses and in the surrounding area. Afterwards we enjoyed a hot juice and very yammi cookies. All in one: A wonderful experience that you dont get every day!

It was fun and a unique adventure that was a highlight of our family vacation. It may not be best for very young children unless the are bundled in layers. Use boot warmers when you get your clothing.

Well worth the money, fun first time riding horse. The guide was very helpful and explained everything very well. Recommended for everyone :D

An unforgettable experience. Everything was just appropriate for a Beginning Self-Drive Husky Sledding. Great and funny tutor and a fantastic and friendly guide with beautiful and strong Huskies. Maybe the best activity we've had in Lapland.
